What is a Pet Health ClubTM membership? 

Pet Health ClubTM is a monthly vet healthcare membership that provides preventative care for cats and dogs, including annual wellness exams, core vaccinations, and discounts on a range of extra services. 

How is a Pet Health ClubTM membership different from pet insurance? 

Pet insurance covers unexpected illness or injury, while Pet Health ClubTM covers routine care and preventative medicine for your pet such as vaccinations and annual wellness exams. 

Can I sign up more than one pet? 

Yes, you can sign up any cat or dog that is registered as a patient at our hospital. Membership is associated with an individual pet at sign up. Each pet needs to have their own membership in order to access membership benefits.  

How do I use Pet Health ClubTM benefits? 

Pet Health ClubTM benefits, both services and discounts, are automatically applied to your invoice when one of the included services or products is purchased for a pet that has a Pet Health ClubTM membership. Your membership doesn’t have a physical card. It is connected to your pet’s patient file, and discounts are automatically applied.

Can I use my Pet Health ClubTM benefits at other veterinary practices? 

Pet Health ClubTM benefits are applicable at your selected clinic. If a transfer to another veterinary practice is necessary, we can transfer your membership and your patient files to any other veterinary practice that is part of the Pet Health ClubTM network.

Are there eligibility requirements for membership? 

All cats and dogs at any age and stage are eligible for a Pet Health ClubTM membership.

Can I cancel at any time? 

Pet Health ClubTM is an annual membership. You can choose at any time to not renew at the end of your term. There is a 14-day grace period from date of sign up to cancel and receive a full refund. (Any services received during the 14-day grace period would be subject to regular pricing owed.)

We will immediately cancel your membership if a pet passes, with no charges for the remaining months on the membership. If the full year was purchased upfront, the remaining balance will be refunded.

* Savings may be higher. The average annualized savings is based on all discounted services used once annually, with the exception of food (assumed use of once per month) and nail trim (assumed use of 6x annually), in addition to full uptake of core benefits. Savings will vary per species per year based on vaccination status and if the pet is intact. For pets that are already spayed/neutered and have their ID microchip, the average annualized savings is $570 for dogs, and $540 for cats.
1 Core vaccinations for dogs includes: Distemper, Parvo, Rabies, Lepto, and Kennel Cough. Core vaccinations for cats includes: FVRCP, Rabies, and Leukemia.
2 4Dx blood test is for canines only.
3 Includes geriatric panel with urinalysis, geriatric profile with T4, and 4Dx Plus blood test.
4 Spay/neuter includes: Day admit visit, pre-surgical exam, pre-anesthetic bloodwork, all medications, anesthetics, and analgesics (pre, intra, and post op), procedure time, IV catheter & fluids, hospitalization, excludes any surcharges required (i.e. gastropexy, cryptorchid, hernia repair, laser, etc.). E-Collar will be included in the spay/neuter package. Medical shirts are not included but can be purchased separately.
5 20% discount applies to dental x-rays, extractions, cleaning and polishing.
6 If sedation is needed for a nail trim, sedation fee not subject to discount.
7 Discount applies when purchasing ≥6 months of parasite prevention medication. Puppies and kittens can purchase their prevention monthly with a discount as dosage will change as they grow.
8 PHC members will receive 20% discount on any lab diagnostics apart from the ones included in the basic wellness screening, senior wellness screening (PHC members receive 80% off the diagnostics that are included in a senior wellness screening), and spay/neuter procedures (PHC members receive 40% off pre-op blood work as part of the spay/neuter discount).
9 Can be used in clinic or on our online store. Prescription pet food not subject to discount.
